We Got Chicks!

Our shipment of meat birds came in today. These are Cornish cross. We purchase them from Ideal Poultry because you can specify if you want them vaccinated or not. They are already enjoying fermented chick feed. Once they are out of the brooder (we are using a cooler this time around!), they will be grazing on the pasture in our chicken tractor until they are big enough to fend for themselves.
